Breastfeeding & Baby Care Class

Our Breastfeeding n' Baby Care Class is designed to give you (and your mate) a fun, cool and relaxed place to discuss the essentials to caring for your baby.
- Learn basic baby care skills including holding, bathing and swaddling
- Learn why babies cry and how to comfort them
- Learn about diapering (cloth and disposable)
- Latch-On and Positioning for breastfeeding
- Going back to work/school
- Breast and bottle: Can you do both?
- Breast Pumps: Why's, How's, Who's and What for's
- How to avoid sore nipples, engorgement and other common challenges
- Special circumstances (C-sections, Multiples, breast reduction surgery, and more...)
This class is great for the pre and postnatal period: Research shows the prenatal period as the ideal time for you and your partner to prepare for parenting success, through education and awareness.

Infant Massage Class
Massaging your baby communicates love, releases tension, and helps you better understand your baby's needs. This class strives to promote nurturing touch and communication between parent and child, so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued, and respected throughout the world community. Some of the profound effects of infant massage include:
- Relaxes/soothes baby.
- Deepens bonds.
- Improves communication.
- Supports development and digestion.
- Helps baby (and you) sleep.
What you will need to bring:
- One pillow
- One blanket or large towel
- Your baby from 3 weeks to pre-crawling (or a doll with soft torso if you have not yet given birth)
- Any other items that will help to facilitate comfort for you and baby while sitting on the floor.

Baby wearing is for infants AND toddlers up to 35 lbs.
